We use Aplos for our online giving portal. This is our preferred place for you to give as it automatically uploads into accounting and makes getting donation acknowledgments quicker (and eliminates human error). Note: you may receive notifications from WePay to authorize transactions in your email, if you do not get an confirmation email please check for an authorization request.

If you would like to make a gift of stock, we would be happy to provide stock transfer instructions to you. It is a simple, straightforward process.
Call or write to your broker, asking them to initiate a "broker to broker" transfer. You would instruct your broker to donate the stock directly to Rescue Pink.
Rescue Pink will provide you with the name of our brokerage firm, the brokerage firm’s DTC number, and our account name and number.
Your broker can then transfer the securities directly into Rescue Pink’s account. It is important that the securities be transferred to Rescue Pink’s account prior to being sold in order to avoid capital gains taxation.

Is my cryptocurrency charitable donation tax deductible?
Yes, your cryptocurrency donation is tax deductible! Rescue Pink offers supporters who want to donate cryptocurrency to charity the ability to give in a tax-efficient way. The IRS classifies cryptocurrency donations as property, meaning they are not subject to capital gains tax and are tax-deductible. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. For example, for donors in the United States, the IRS has classified bitcoin as property for tax purposes. This means that when someone donates bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit like Rescue Pink, donors do not have to pay capital gains tax and it is tax-deductible if you provide your email address.
